Verses to remember :)

I Corinthians 3:6
planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.

I Corinthians 3:16
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? :: You are perfect just the way you are because that's how God made you!!!

I Corinthians 4:4
My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.

I Corinthians 6:19-20
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. :: You were bought with a precious price! So honor God! Why would you have an excuse not to?

I Corinthians 7:17
Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. :: We must live for Christ all the time. Be sold out for Him. :)

I Corinthians 9:19-23
Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. :: Become all things to all people in order to win over people for the Gospel. Come out of your shell and associate with other people to win them for Christ.

I Corinthians 9:24-27
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. :: As believers we need to be running and be desiring to get the prize. If people are willing to train their whole lives just to win a perishable prize, how much more should we be willing to do the same for an eternal prize!
